Graduation Ceromony + Farewell Celebration for Mr. Chia (my Principal)

Today, I graduated. I am now out of the school, which gave me a strange feeling. I don't know what's wrong. Anyway, everything started by waiting for the Guest of Honour in the hall. Today, we get to sit on chairs. There was also a banner which says "Prize Presentation cum Graduation Ceremony". We clapped and shouted for the Guest of Honour. Next, there's a speech by the Guest of Honour and the Alumni Community. FYI, we're not the only people who are graduating, our Principal is also "graduating" as he'll be the new principal of Endeavour Primary School (FYI, it's a new school). A new challenge for him. Did I mention that my principal is great? Next is a short presentation of what the school has done over the years. Then it's time for prize presentation. It's a time when prizes are given out to people who got first in their classes or the first in the level. Many of my younger friends got them. Of course, no one knows the PSLE results (until 22 Nov 2007) so there's no prize presentation for the Primary 6. Next, there's another speech and we sang the Graduation song. Before we know it, we graduated!!! There's confetti everywhere and we threw them to each other. Finally it ended. We went down for our light refreshments (which isn't really light for some hungry people). The food are those that you find in hotels. They are extra delicious. That was why I ate 6 pieces of chocolate ice-cream puffs, 2 pieces of sandwich (egg) and 2 cups of orange juice. For the rest of the recess, people play soccer, hang out with friends, etc. While I just walked around, recollecting the memories over the years. Next everyone went up to the hall again to hold a farewell celebration for our dear principal. For the next 1 hour, the hall was filled with laughter, chatter, tears, shouting, expression of love (to our dear Principal) and singing. FYI, I cried. You know what? Next comes the scolding, the discipline mistress bellowed and reprimanded the school's behaviour. It ended and we went home. Happy? Well, not everyone. 6D-21's cards were stolen. The same goes for 6D-31's and 6D-17's cards. Want know more? Check out the next entry.
